Now resolved: Some BSE options see brief trading glitches ahead of settlement

Some Sensex options contracts saw brief periods of no trading activity on Thursday ahead of their scheduled settlement.

The 75,000 and 76,200 strike call options on the Sensex, both expiring on Thursday, were halted twice simultaneously, for periods of 18 minutes and 11 minutes, respectively, according to exchange data.

BSE, in a post on X, said: "BSE experienced outage for a brief period from 9:42 am, affecting one of the partitions in the cash segment affecting the scrips that are mapped to it, while all other partitions operated normally. The issue was resolved, and normal operations resumed at 10:08 a.m."
