The NSE Nifty 50 index was down 0.2% at 17,069.10, on Monday, while the S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.15% to 56,975.99.
The 10-year benchmark bond yield ended at 7.118%, while the rupee settled at 76.5150 to the dollar.
