As investors count losses during the ongoing correction, sectors such as pharma and metals have managed to cap losses. Shares in the metal sector weathered all the global geopolitical storms, which have destroyed investor wealth in the last two years.

The metal sector has created immense wealth for investors at a time when Sensex and Nifty have fallen up to 14% in two years. On the contrary, the BSE metal index surged 18% and the Nifty metal index zoomed 26% during the period. Both indices gained 23% and 28.48%, respectively during the last one year.
