Car bomb attacks
The JeM carried out a suicide car bomb attack on the Army Headquarters in Srinagar (May 2000) and a similar attack on the Srinagar legislature (September 2001), killing 39 people. A series of car bombings were orchestrated by the Jaish occasionally.

Parliament attack, 2001The 2001 Indian Parliament attack was a terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament in New Delhi on December 13, 2001. The terror groups responsible were Lashkar-e-taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, the two Pakistan based organizations. The attack led to the deaths of five terrorists, 6 police personnel, two Parliament Security Service personnel and a gardener - in total 14. It heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

Pathankot terror attackJaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar, his brother Abdul Rauf Asghar and two others of the Pakistan-based terror group were charged for the deadly attack on the Pathankot air force base in January. The National Investigation Agency named Masood Azhar as the mastermind of the January 2 attack. Armed terrorists hijacked a police car and entered the highly secure air force base in Punjab, killing seven security men. They were shot dead in an 80-hour operation.
