Maruti Suzuki India is expected to launch its facelifted XL6 in the Indian market soon and has already disclosed its variants and colour list. The new XL6 is expected to be priced starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be offered in two trims: Zeta and Alpha.
The company has also announced that the new MPV will get an updated 1.5-litre petrol engine along with DualJet and mild-hybrid tech, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car is also expected to come with a new 6-speed automatic transmission along with paddle shifters.

India’s largest carmaker’s upcoming facelifted Vitara Brezza, likely to be rechristened as Brezza, is anticipated to be the company’s first car to have a 5-star safety score in Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP)'s crash tests.
In addition to this, the new 2022 Brezza could also become the first compact SUV with a CNG fuel option in the Indo-Japanese carmaker’s portfolio. Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming compact SUV is likely to be launched in India around June 2022.

The new S-Cross, which has already been revealed in its European-spec avatar, is expected to cost starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti Suzuki’s new S-Cross is also expected to get an all-wheel-drive system and feature a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and dual-zone climate control.
Although Maruti Suzuki hasn’t revealed much about S-Cross’s Indian specs, Its European variant comes with a mild-hybrid petrol powertrain and comprises a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine and Suzuki’s 48-volt Smart Hybrid Vehicle system to increase fuel economy.

Maruti is expected to launch the new Alto by the end 2022 and could price the car starting at Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 Alto is likely to get its power through the same 0.8-litre petrol engine as the ongoing model and will come paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The new 2022 Alto could also get a CNG variant and an option of 1-litre petrol engine with an AMT. The hatchback could also come with features like keyless entry, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, and front power windows as standard.

Maruti Suzuki is considering launching off-roader Jimny, which was displayed at the 2020 Auto Expo, in the domestic market. The move comes at a time when Maruti Suzuki is looking to aggressively make its way into the sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment.
Speculations surrounding Jimny's local launch have been going on for many years as it is looked as a direct competitor to Mahindra Thar. Jimny is likely to be offered through the Nexa channel in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is expected to be unveiled around January 2023 in India and is likely to cost around Rs 22.70 lakh. Late last year, Grand Vitara was spied at a Maruti-Suzuki’s premises, sparking the rumours of its domestic launch soon.
The SUV, in the international market, comes with a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine, similar to the S-Cross. Interestingly, this could be the second Maruti to sport the 1.6-litre engine at the time of its launch. The new Grand Vitara will also be the third Maruti car to be sold through the the Nexa dealerships after the S-Cross and the Baleno.

Maruti Suzuki’s Swift hybrid, which was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, comes with an electric motor paired to a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The car also has a dedicated battery pack and is able to churn out 91PS of power and 118Nm of torque. In global markets, the Swift hybrid comes with a 5-speed AMT transmission with paddle shifters.
In terms of features, the comes with ventilated front seats and cruise control over the standard Swift. Maruti plans to use the Swift hybrid’s technology in India as a part of upcoming the company’s cars.
