AI chip production is accelerating at an exponential pace—but global electricity growth is lagging far behind. According to Elon Musk, we may soon produce more AI chips than we can even power on. While the U.S. sees electricity demand grow just 3–4% annually, China is moving at an entirely different scale, deploying over 1,000 gigawatts of solar every year and rapidly expanding nuclear capacity. Musk argues that solar—especially space-based solar—could be the ultimate solution, offering near-limitless clean energy without consuming land on Earth. With SpaceX planning solar-powered AI satellites, the future of AI may depend less on chips—and more on the sun. 👉 Like, share, comment your thoughts, and subscribe for more AI energy insights.
