In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, the US President said Washington was preparing what he described as the most sweeping economic campaign ever imposed on a country, and put other nations on notice that supporting Tehran in any form would carry a heavy price. "ANY country that allows its financial institutions, businesses, airports, or government entities to provide any type of lifeline to Iran will itself face TREMENDOUS Economic Consequences," Trump said.
He did not name specific countries or detail exactly what penalties would be imposed, but left no ambiguity about the scope of what Washington is planning.
