With its instant-on, carry-everywhere capabilities and legendary battery life, more and more folks are looking to get work done on the iPad. Helpfully, several apps and peripherals are maturing to fill that big need. But is the iPad good enough for real work, and will it be suitable for you? Here's the lowdown. The Apple machine brings to the table amazing battery life and quick always on access to your email, web and documents without standing out. Most apps are lightweight, scaled-back versions of desktop software and bring basic functionality to the tablet. The process of getting documents on and off the machine isn't the easiest; one has to depend on iTunes or email for that.Courtesy: Gadgets and Gizmos
