I.T. stocks are making a comeback in several PMS portfolios after remaining underweight for the past few years. Chockalingam Narayanan, Head of Equities - PMS & AIF, ICICI Prudential AMC, explains that improving risk-reward, bottoming earnings growth, and strong return ratios have made select I.T. companies attractive again. He says the investment approach remains focused on finding companies that offer earnings growth, improving ROE, and reasonable valuations. While I.T. exposure was limited earlier, recent opportunities have led to fresh positions across portfolios. The focus remains on bottom-up stock selection rather than chasing sector trends.
