Union Budget 2023: FM Nirmala Sitharaman Announces Mishti Project To Plant Mangroves Trees

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the Union Budget 2023-24 on Wednesday kept up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's love for acronyms and presented a sweet offering or Mishti. Mishti means sweetmeats in Bengali. The Mishti scheme is aimed at preserving mangroves. The Modi government's love for acronyms is evident.
