Adani bribery Case | Jagdeep Dhankhar: Parliamentary Disputation Weakens Our Democracy

On 28th November 2024, Thursday, the Parliament Winter Session witnessed intense protests and slogans in the Rajya Sabha, as opposition MPs raised their voices over the bribery charges against the Adani Group. Amid the ruckus, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar made a stern remark, stating, "This chamber is more than just a House of debate. Parliamentary disputation weakens our democracy." The opposition, led by the Congress and other INDIA bloc parties, is demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the alleged corruption linked to the Adani Group.
