The Tata Group announced a massive order for 250 aircraft from Airbus. It includes 140 A320, 70 A321 NEO, and 40 AN350. The mega deal was announced in a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Ratan Tata. Tata Sons, India's oldest and largest conglomerate, regained ownership of the debt-laden Air India last year...and is now seeking to reinvent itself by expanding its operations and modernising its fleet. As part of its historic expansion, Air India is also purchasing 220 planes from Boeing. It includes 190 737 MAX, 20 787 Dreamliners, and 10 mini-jumbo 777X. The leaders welcome the landmark agreement between Air India and Boeing as a shining example of mutually beneficial cooperation.
