Ambanis & Adanis Are In A Corporate Face-Off For Ownership Of A Thermal Plant, SKS Power

The Ambanis and the Adanis are in a rare corporate face-off for the ownership of a thermal plant. Two of the largest business houses in India, are in the fray to acquire SKS Power, a Chattisgarh-based entity which owns a 600-mega watt thermal plant. According to reports, other bidders include NTPC, Torrent Power, Sarda Energy, Jindal Power and thee Singapore-based Vantage Point Asset Management.
