Ahead of the Union Budget Session, TDP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) met with Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi to discuss the state's severe financial situation. Sources reveal that Naidu detailed Andhra Pradesh's enormous debt and the urgent need for financial relief. While no demand for "special status" was made, the discussion focused on addressing the financial crisis. Sources told India Today that there is a mutual agreement for the Centre and the state governments to collaborate on resolving the issue. TDP and BJP, being in alliance at both the Central and state levels, are working closely, and those close to Naidu have indicated that the TDP is eyeing a "special financial package" from the Centre
