BJP slams Billionaire Investor George Soros For Comments On PM Modi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday slammed billionaire investor George Soros for his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Soros had earlier said that the Gautam Adani issue has shaken the faith in India as an investment opportunity and it may open the door to a democratic revival in the country.BJP leader and Union minister Smriti Irani accused Soros of targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and "the Indian democratic system". Irani said that a war is being mounted against India and what stands between the war and India's interests is Modi. Everyone should condemn his remarks in one voice, she said.
