In October, China was still in an “all-out war” on coronavirus, imposing rigid restrictions despite its adverse impact on the country’s economy. Two months down the line, the government has made an absolute turnaround on its zero-Covid policy. And the aftermath has been overburdened hospitals and crematoriums, with the forecast of millions of people being infected with the virus, and million succumbing to the infection.
