Cyclone Michaung Creates Havoc In Chennai, Disrupts Flight Operations

As the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into a cyclonic storm 'Michaung' and triggered heavy rain in Chennai, India Today hit the ground to take stock of the situation. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy winds with a maximum sustained wind speed of 80-90 kmph gusting to 100 kmph and rainfall are expected on December 5 with cyclone Michaung hitting the coast.
