Delhi To Srinagar In 8 Hours! Nitin Gadkari's Major Announcement On New Tunnels

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari outlines an ambitious infrastructure plan transforming Jammu & Kashmir's connectivity. With the completion of 27 tunnels, including the remarkable Atal Tunnel that reduces travel time to Rohtang Pass from 3.5 hours to just 8 minutes, the region is set for unprecedented access. The ongoing Zoji-la Tunnel, Asia's largest at 11.6 km, and the proposed 18 tunnels from Srinagar to Jammu will further enhance travel efficiency. This development will enable travel from Delhi to Amritsar in 4 hours, and to Srinagar in just 8 hours, paving the way for better integration and economic growth in the region.
