Elon Musk Sacks Top Executives After Twitter Takeover

Elon Musk completed the $44-billion Twitter deal on Thursday, a day ahead of the court-mandated deadline. His first step was to fire four of the top executives of the company. This included the Indian-born CEO Parag Agrawal who failed to complete a year on the job. Another Indian-origin executive, Vijaya Gadde, the company’s legal, public policy, trust and safety lead was also handed her papers. Others fired included Twitter CFO and Legal Counsel. According to media reports, some of the executives were in office and were escorted off the premises.
