A major political showdown has erupted in the Delhi Assembly over the CAG report on the controversial liquor policy. Former CM and Delhi LoP Atishi claims the report supports AAP’s stance, arguing that the new excise policy was transparent and could have doubled Delhi’s revenue if implemented properly. She alleges that opposition interference led to a ₹2,000 crore loss and calls for an investigation against Delhi’s LG, CBI, and ED.

On the other hand, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa accuses AAP of hiding the report for three years, alleging that it exposes a massive liquor scam under Arvind Kejriwal. He claims Kejriwal increased liquor commission rates for personal gains and predicts further scams will be exposed soon, calling for strict legal action.

With both sides fiercely defending their narratives, the CAG report has become the latest flashpoint in Delhi’s political battlefield.
