Exclusive Conversation With Indian-Origin Congressman Shri Thanedar On India And PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Washington DC on Wednesday, after an eventful day in New York. He met First Lady of the US, Jill Biden, and visited the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia. Later in the day, he met US President Joe Biden, who hosted a private dinner for him in Washington DC. Jill Biden gave out details of the state dinner to be hosted for PM Modi, by her and US President Joe Biden at the White House. During his first leg of the US visit to New York, he led the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters. In the second leg of his maiden state visit to the US, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with President Joe Biden and address a joint session of the US Congress. Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will host him for a state dinner on Thursday.
