Fed Chair Powell Says Smaller Interest Rate Hikes Could Start In December

The US Federal Reserve last night had some good news for the world markets. Addressing a gathering at the Brookings Institute, Jerome Powell, the Fed Chairman, clearly hinted at slowing the pace of interest rate hikes. According to Powell, the smaller hikes could start as early as this month, even though the fight against inflation, as he added, remains incomplete.
