Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday morning wished the countrymen on the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day, and said the coming together of more than 180 countries on India's call is 'historic'. The prime minister, who is on a state visit to the US, will be participating in a yoga programme organised at the UN headquarters. Popular Hollywood actor Richard Gere joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a special yoga session at the UN Headquarters in New York to celebrate the 9th International Day of Yoga on Wednesday. Several pictures of the duo hugging and sitting next to each other and performing Yoga on the UN headquarter lawns have been doing the rounds on social media.
