Godrej Appliances To Pass Rate Cut Gains To Customers

BTTV’s Aastha Chopra spoke with Kamal Nandi, Business Head and EVP of Godrej Appliances, on how the recent rate cuts will shape festive demand. Nandi said the entire benefit of the GST reduction on ACs and Dishwashers from 28% to 18% will be passed on to the consumers by Godrej Enterprises Group. It will make products more affordable this season. He added that air conditioners will drive the strongest growth, followed by washing machines, which remain festive favourites. Confident of surpassing last year’s sales, Godrej is projecting nearly 40% demand growth. The company has also launched new appliances and has more in the pipeline, while adopting AI-powered features to make its products smarter. Nandi underlined that Godrej is well prepared to cater to the expected surge in customer demand this festive season.
