Gujarat is grappling with a severe monsoon crisis as relentless rainfall for three consecutive days has led to widespread flooding across the state. Streets are waterlogged, trees uprooted, and vehicles submerged, with Ahmedabad and Vadodara among the worst-hit cities. Over 6,000 residents have been evacuated to safer locations as water levels in dams and rivers continue to rise. The National and State Disaster Response Forces (NDRF and SDRF) are working tirelessly to rescue stranded citizens, while the central government has dispatched six army columns to assist with relief and disaster management efforts. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel convened a high-level meeting with officials to assess the situation and coordinate the state's response. As the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warns of more heavy rainfall in the coming days, the state remains on high alert, bracing for further challenges. The ongoing monsoon mayhem has thrown life out of gear, with the situation in Gujarat becoming increasingly dire.
