Has India Reached Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's Economic Vision?

In 2015, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam speaking at 55th All India SDMs Conference talks about the journey of India’s economic reforms. He recalls 15 years ago, A 20 members council was formed and 520 economic experts from different sector were gathered to figure the Mission and vision for Indian economic trouble. A mission on dream economy was developed, but were laughed at considering India’s GDP was at 4.5%. the council started ‘India Vision 2020’ that by 2020 India has to become economically developed. He highlighted how Indian economy was growing in IT, Agriculture, the production of food was increased, Pharma sector also started to bloom. He also shares the world Crisis that started later on and how India dealth with it and due to which the GDP dragged down to 4.5% . Listen in
