The Delhi Assembly elections have triggered massive tremors within the INDIA Bloc, exposing deep cracks in the opposition alliance. As AAP and Congress engage in relentless attacks on each other, key allies like the Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) have thrown their support behind AAP, leaving Congress increasingly isolated. The fallout isn't limited to Delhi. In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) have announced plans to contest upcoming civic polls solo, signaling further disarray. Adding to the alliance’s woes, the bonhomie between PM Modi and J&K CM Omar Abdullah at the Z Morh tunnel inauguration has sparked unease. With disagreements over issues like the RSS and EVMs mounting, opposition voices within the bloc have grown louder against Congress. As Congress scrambles to hold its ground, questions loom large: Is this the beginning of the end for the INDIA Bloc? Or will the alliance survive to challenge the Modi juggernaut in 2024?
