Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the India–Oman Business Forum, highlighted why India continues to post strong economic growth despite global uncertainty. He said India has fundamentally transformed its “economic DNA” over the past 11 years through structural reforms. PM Modi pointed to GST creating a unified national market, insolvency and bankruptcy reforms improving financial discipline, and corporate tax cuts making India a competitive investment destination. He also cited historic labour reforms, production-linked incentives boosting manufacturing, and the role of Digital India in improving governance, transparency, and inclusion. Improved physical infrastructure and lower logistics costs, he said, are further strengthening India’s growth momentum.
