India–Russia Trade To Cross $100 Billion Before 2030: PM Modi Fast-Tracks Economic Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the India–Russia Business Forum, said that the $100 billion bilateral trade target set for 2030 is likely to be achieved well ahead of schedule. He noted that tariff and non-tariff barriers are being reduced, strengthening the economic partnership between India and Russia. Highlighting India’s remarkable transformation over the past 11 years under the principles of “reform, perform, and transform”, PM Modi expressed strong confidence that India is rapidly advancing towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy. He added that next-generation GST reforms and reduced compliance are further boosting ease of doing business, accelerating trade potential between the two nations.
