"India To Become A $40 Trillion Economy By 2047", Says Mukesh Ambani

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani Tuesday said the country will witness an unprecedented explosion in economic growth and opportunities, as the Amrit Kaal unfolds. He said the current year marks the beginning of India’s Amrit Kaal, regarded as the most auspicious time to start anything new, and expects the country to become a $40 trillion economy by 2047. “As the Amrit Kaal unfolds, India will witness an unprecedented explosion in economic growth and opportunities. From a $3 trillion economy, India will grow to become a $40 trillion economy by 2047, ranking among the top three economies of the world in your working life,” Ambani said while delivering his address at the 10th convocation ceremony of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar.
