Former US President Donald Trump safely survived an assassination attempt with minor injuries on Saturday due to divine intervention by Lord Jagannath, claimed Iskcon, a global Hindu spiritual movement. Referring to Trump's association with the first Rathyatra in New York 48 years ago, where he is said to have offered help to devotees, the Iskcon spokesperson said Jagannath returned the favour by saving him.
