IT-Axis My India Exit Poll: Congress Govt Fails To Lessen BJP Influence In Karnataka

The BJP is likely to make a clean sweep in Karnataka, as per a prediction by India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. Axis My India exit poll predicts that the BJP-led NDA is likely to win between 23 to 25 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka. The Congress is predicted to secure win on three to five seats. The India Today-Axis My India exit poll is based on 5.8 lakh interviews conducted in all 543 parliamentary constituencies. HD Deve Gowda-led Janata Dal (Secular), which was in alliance with the Congress in 2019, is part of the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP got an overwhelming majority, winning 25 of the 28 seats. One each was won by the Congress, Janata Dal (Secular) and an Independent candidate. It was the BJP’s highest-ever tally in a southern state.
