Joe Biden & Xi Jinping Hold Bilateral In U.S; China And U.S To Reopen Military Contacts

US President Joe Biden and the Chinese President Xi Jinping had an ice breaker meeting in San Francisco on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific economic cooperation summit. The effort was to rebuild bridges and take forward the Bali process between the two powerful leaders. However, China and the US remain wary of each other and while military to military communication is re-starting, Biden reiterated his comment about President Xi being a dictator indicating there is still no meeting of the minds.
