BTTV Correspondent Aastha Chopra spoke with Sanjay Chitkara, Chief Sales Officer, and Atul Khanna, Chief Accounts officer of LG Electronics India, on the company’s IPO and growth outlook. They shared that the IPO, a 15% offer for sale, reflects LG’s strong presence in India where it holds the highest market share across refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, ACs and microwaves. LG has invested $600 million in a third plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, which will be three times larger than its existing Noida and Pune units. With 35,000 touchpoints, 777 brand stores, and 54% localization, the company plans to expand premium products into Tier 2 and 3 towns. Ahead of the festive season, they expect strong demand, noting GST cuts, rising upgrades to 65–97-inch TVs, and a steady double-digit growth trend.
