L'oreal, Dabur, Godrej & Others Under Scanner For Hair Straightners Causing Cancer

In what could open a Pandora’s Box for global giants manufacturing personal care items, a lawsuit has been filed against L’Oreal in the US, with the plaintiff alleging that its hair straighteners have caused her uterine cancer. Also named in the lawsuit are two brands owned by Godrej Consumer Products and Dabur International.
