Maruti Enters Uncharted Semi-luxury Territory With ₹24.79-Lakh MPV

India’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has launched its most expensive vehicle to date. The Invicto is based on the recently-launched Toyota Innova Hycross but the pricing ensures that the Invicto does not cannibalise the sales of the Toyota bestseller. The Invicto is a big launch for Maruti as the company tries to gain a share in the booming SUV market. The Grand Vitara and the all-new Brezza have already helped Maruti increase its share in the SUV market to 20% from 8.5% in a year.
