The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections began today with voting in 89 constituencies across 13 states. In Karnataka, where the Murthys reached a Bengaluru polling booth early this morning, voting will take place in 14 constituencies. Author and philanthropist Sudha Murty, 73, shared a message for young voters after casting her vote in the Lok Saba elections 2024. She urged people to come out and vote. Narayana Murthy also urged people to exercise their right to vote. “Once in every five years, we get an opportunity to execute the right given by our constitution, to chose whatever candidate from whichever party he/she is, to govern us. Today is a very happy day. Today is the day when we should all be enthusiastic to exercise our power,” the founder of Infosys told reporters.
