NDA Fury Over Rahul Gandhi’s Parliament Speech, PM Modi To Respond

The Lok Sabha witnessed tense moments as Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition (LoP), took a jab at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Donald Trump's coronation invite while replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju strongly objected to the remarks. Mocking the Central government, Gandhi claimed that if it had taken economic policies seriously, then the government would not have had to send Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to the US to get an invitation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony. Rahul Gandhi also raked up the China issue and said that the Indian Army contradicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's claims about Chinese army intrusion in Ladakh.
