In Vadodara, Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the TATA Aircraft Complex, dedicated to manufacturing the C-295 aircraft. During the ceremony, he paid tribute to the late Ratan Tata, stating, "We recently lost the country's great son Ratan Tata Ji. If he had been with us today, he would have been filled with joy. Wherever his soul resides, he would find happiness in this achievement." Modi highlighted the factory as a symbol of New India's work culture, reminiscing about his earlier role as Gujarat's Chief Minister when the decision to establish a factory for train coaches in Vadodara was made. He noted the rapid production setup of that factory, which now exports metro coaches to international markets. Expressing confidence in the new aircraft facility, he stated, "I am certain that the aircraft produced here will also reach global markets."
