No South Vs North Divide: Nara Lokesh Advocates NDA-Led Solution On Delimitation

At the India Today Conclave, Nara Lokesh, Minister of HRD, IT & Electronics, Andhra Pradesh, addressed the contentious delimitation issue and the concerns raised by Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin. Responding to fears that southern states might lose political representation due to population-based seat redistribution, Lokesh emphasized that population control should not be used against southern states. However, he reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh’s unconditional support to the NDA, distancing the state from any broader southern coalition on the matter. Lokesh asserted that as an NDA partner, Andhra Pradesh has a voice at the table and will discuss issues through dialogue rather than confrontation.
