Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is on a mission to transform the state into a leading investment hub, as he prepares for the upcoming 'Make in Odisha' conclave, scheduled for January 28-29, 2025. Ahead of this mega event, the CM is actively engaging with investors to attract a target of Rs 5 lakh crore in investments over the next five years. Majhi, addressing mediapersons before heading to New Delhi for the curtain raiser event, highlighted that the state has already secured Rs 45,000 crore in investments within the first 100 days of the new government. He emphasized that Odisha is rapidly emerging as a preferred destination for investors, thanks to its dynamic industrial ecosystem. The upcoming 'Utkarsh Odisha - Make-in-Odisha Conclave 2025' is expected to elevate Odisha's industrial landscape and showcase its global potential. As part of the roadshow, the state will host key events in the national capital, where the Chief Minister will interact with business leaders and representatives from 34 countries, including major global players like the USA, Japan, China, and Singapore. Nine foreign associations will participate in the roadshow, highlighting Odisha's growing international presence and investment opportunities.
