Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the National PM Vishwakarma Programme in Maharashtra, where he highlighted the swift progress of the PM MITRA Parks. He emphasized the vision of creating a seamless "Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Fabric, Fabric to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign" model, where high-quality fabrics would be manufactured, transformed into fashion products, and exported globally. This initiative aims to reduce losses for farmers, provide better crop prices, and enable value addition. Modi pointed out that the PM MITRA Park alone has the potential for investments of 8-10 crore, creating over 1 lakh employment opportunities for the youth in Maharashtra. Additionally, other industries would benefit from this initiative, with new supply chains being formed and increasing income for many. For such industrial progress, Modi assured that the state is also developing its infrastructure and connectivity, including new highways, expressways, ports, and air connectivity, to support this industrial growth.
