PM Modi Proposes International Buddhist Circuit To Boost Aviation And Tourism Across Asia

Prime Minister emphasized the potential benefits of connecting all holy sites related to Lord Buddha across Asia by creating an ‘International Buddhist Circuit’. This initiative aims to enhance the civil aviation sector, benefit travelers, and positively impact the economies of the participating countries. The concept involves leveraging the rich Buddhist heritage across Asia to boost tourism and create a model for regional and international travel. Highlighting the historical and cultural significance, the Prime Minister noted that integrating these sites into a cohesive circuit could serve as a valuable tourism asset. Prime Minister also spoke about the transformation in the aviation sector in India in the last ten years and said from being aviation exclusive, India has become aviation inclusive. Highlighting the crucial role of the civil aviation sector, he said focus is on connecting people, culture and prosperity through the sector.
