Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to workers over the phone, who were rescued from the collapsed Uttarkashi tunnel after 17 days. PM Modi called on the rescued men and enquired about their well-being. He hailed the rescued workers and said the bravery, patience and strength that they have shown in this challenging time is an inspiration for everyone. “Seventeen days is not a short time. You all showed a lot of courage and encouraged each other,” PM Modi told the workers.
