SEBI Collaborates With Entities To Speed Up Stock Market Transactions

In an important decision which could have far-reaching consequences for the investor, SEBI has said it is working on instantaneous settlement of stock market transactions. Madhabi Puri Buch, chairperson of the capital markets regulator, said the regulator is collaborating with several parties to speed up transaction settlement. She also highlighted the benefits to investors because of faster settlement periods.
