On Maharashtra election day, Mumbai witnessed a superstar turnout as Bollywood celebrities stepped out to cast their votes and celebrate the spirit of democracy. From Akshay Kumar, who was among the first to vote, to Ranbir Kapoor and Kartik Aryan, dressed in classic white, the city's polling booths were graced by a galaxy of stars. Riteish Deshmukh, confident as ever, voted alongside his wife Genelia while his brothers contested for the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Early voter Rajkumar Rao was spotted at the Gyan Kendra Secondary School booth, while sibling duo Farhan and Zoya Akhtar proudly flaunted their inked fingers, urging others to follow suit. Veteran writer Gulzar cast his vote with daughter Meghana, while Suniel Shetty, John Abraham, and Sonu Sood added star power to the festival of democracy, with Sood encouraging citizens not to treat the day as a holiday. BJP MP Hema Malini, accompanied by daughter Esha, along with actors like Paresh Rawal, Govinda, Ali Fazal, and Raveena Tandon, also joined the movement.
