US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have met for the fourth time, with Gaza’s future at the heart of their talks. Trump insists on a peace deal that would allow Palestinians to remain in the Gaza Strip, backed by a US 21-point proposal for hostages’ release and a pathway to a Palestinian state. But Hamas says it hasn’t received any deal. The meeting also included a trilateral call with Qatar, where Netanyahu apologized for attacks on Hamas delegates in Doha. Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s UNGA speech drew walkouts and protests in New York and Tel Aviv, as he slammed world leaders for recognizing Palestine. Families of Israeli hostages have written to Trump, urging him to bring their loved ones home. On the ground, Israel continues its offensive in Gaza, dropping leaflets urging evacuations.
