'Type Of Art, Didn't Intend To Hurt': TMC MP On Mimicking Rajya Sabha Chairman

A day after a row erupted over Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee mimicking Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar outside Parliament, Banerjee clarified, saying it was just a type of art and he did not do it to hurt anyone. “I have great respect for Dhankhar ji. He belongs to my profession. He was our ex-governor. He is our Vice-President. Just a type of art I just showcased. Even the PM did mimicry in Lok Sabha itself in past. He has done it. I can show it to you. Everyone had taken it as casually. We did not take that seriously,” he said.
