Authorities are now exploring a Jharkhand connection, scrutinizing the Chairman and Principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, where the paper is believed to have been leaked. So far, the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has arrested 13 individuals in Patna and six more from a house near AIIMS in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The hunt for the mastermind, Sanjeev Mukhiya, continues, with reports suggesting he housed nearly 25 candidates at a boys' hostel associated with Learn Play School in Patna, providing them with leaked question papers and answer keys the night before the NEET exam. India Today traced Ashutosh, the renter of Learn Play School, who fled upon discovering the leak. He disclosed that his friend Manish brought 5-7 boys on May 4, and by the next morning, over 15 students were in the room, receiving printouts of the exam papers. Meanwhile, political tensions rise as BJP and RJD trade accusations over the scandal. As investigations deepen, Bihar emerges as the epicenter of the NEET paper leak.
