In an exclusive conversation with Geeta Mohan, US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti discussed the possibility of India facing sanctions for its involvement in the Chabahar Port project. Garcetti highlighted Iran's history of supporting terrorism not only in the Middle East but also globally. He emphasized that while the US remains committed to imposing sanctions, exceptions can be made based on strategic relationships. However, Garcetti himself awaits further clarification from higher authorities on this matter.
